Tee Ball
In this division, kids are just starting to learn how to play baseball, and the focus is on having fun, developing basic skills, and learning the game. Players hit off a tee and take turns in the field, with everyone getting a chance to play every position. The games are friendly and encouraging, with lots of cheering from teammates and parents. The rules are simple to help the kids understand the basics, like running the bases, catching the ball, and throwing it to the right spot. Coaches help guide the players and make sure everyone gets a turn. The goal is to help kids feel confident, make new friends, and enjoy playing baseball! Towards the end of the season, coaches may start to pitch soft underhand tosses to help the player get used to a moving ball.

Players learn the finer points of the game, including strategies for pitching, catching pop flies, turning double plays, and making smart decisions on the bases.
The games are more competitive, and players are expected to understand the rules of the game, like calling for the ball in the outfield, backing up throws, and tagging up on fly balls. Coaches are still there to provide guidance, but kids start to take on more responsibility as they run the bases, pitch, and work together as a team. The focus is on improving individual skills while also developing teamwork and sportsmanship.
The Minors division is a key step in players’ baseball journeys, where they gain confidence in their abilities, learn more about the strategy behind the game, and have fun while playing a more challenging version of baseball!
